Is it possible to swap out the diff cover with one from a M coupe?

Here is an article I was looking at.

Thanks!

The cover alone will not fit the samll ti diff. You want the entire assembly, but then the half shafts as well need to be changed, and other assorted headaches...

Do what I'm doing: get the entire sub-frame from the coupe`/roadster and install it.

PS I'll have aother booklet on how to do it in a couple months...

Does it make a difference if the stock differential is LSD?

Actually it's called an open or limited slip differential.
And as J!m said, the cover will not fit a ti differential housing.

For a stock 4 banger I don't see any need for it unless you track the car. And even then I think it's only useful with 6 cylinder or SC'd ti.

Plus the spare will not fit. I deflated my spare and carry an electric air compressor.

Hi all,

Look at this if you have the "small" ti/4 cyl Z3 diff.

A buddy made this for me and will make more if you want them.
