The driver's window in my ti fell down into the door the other day. I opened it up, and found where the window regulator had separated from the window track, as the white plastic clips had come off. I replaced the clips, and the regulator does not appear bent or weak, yet the clips keep popping off when I open the door. I am wondering if I should replace the regulator - has anyone done this?

The same thing happened to me about a month ago. I'd get everything put back together, it would immediately pop out again. Adjust the alignment of the window so that it's dead square with the upper door frame, that should take care of things. There's an adjustment rod that you move back and forth, you'll see what I mean. I'll bet that the locknut's backed off.

Good Luck!

I have to admit I was skeptical about your response. I didn't see how it could make any difference, as there is only one position for the window track (incidentally, that is what broke in the first place that messed the whole thing up). But, my alternative was to get rained on and vandalized, so what the hey... I pulled everything apart, loosened and realigned the window guide, and it has worked for over a week now! Thanks for the fix!
