My wife used to own an Alaska Blue '95 ti Active, but that one got totaled. We are parting it out now (see the for sale section ).

Anyway, she loved that car so much, I had to find another one to ease the pain.
I stumbled across a post in craiglist about a '97 ti sport that looked promising. The next day we met the guy over lunch. The car is in excellent shape.
It came with all maintenance records, manuals and even the original window sticker
When we bought the car ($5,200) it had 136,000 miles on it. Now it already has 141,000 miles.
Now we are the proud owner of a ti again. This time it is a silver one and it has the m package on it.
So far I have changed the front rotors+calipers to the 2.8 Z3 coupe (bigger calipers+vented rotors) and put the upgraded suspension from the old one on the new one (Koni single adjustable with H&R springs).
Here are a couple pictures:

It's all about keeping the wife happy

Awsome! Looks like my car when i first got it, same everything right down to the year. (also had the original window sticker. I love the second picture down. Got any interior pics?

Congrads on the new TI and sounds like a hell of a price.

Nice looking ti! I should do that brake swap. Do the z3 rotors fit without any modification?

Thanks! I like the wheels on your car. I used to have OZ Superleggeras on the old one. Still trying to decide what time of wheel would look nice, maybe SSR Comp.

Yep, the fit without any modifications. Just make sure you get the caliper carrier, caliper and rotors to go along with it. It doesn't upset the brake bias or pedal travel either.

I have the grey/black interior too. <3
Seriously, give me one body color that the grey/black interior would look bad in. You can't.

Love your new ti.
(I have the exact same one) but i wish i had a manual though:frown: like you.

While shopping around I saw a couple other nice looking Ti's, but they were all automatic. Luckily I could wait a little bit and by accident I stumbled upon this manual one.
I never owned (except for an ambulance ) an automatic vehicle and I think I would have a hard time driving one.
