Hi Guys,
I'm just wondering what your fuel of choice is to run your M44 engine on. I have only just gotten the car so I haven't had the chance yet to try all the different fuels yet and see if there is any noticeable difference.

So what do you like to run? I'm interested to see the results!

Note: Octane = RON (Research Octane Number)
AKI = RON - 4

I run 93 octane, apparently they use a different system of measurement in Australia :confused:

alright, a quick google search turned up that the AKI number is the same as the octane number in the US, so 93 octane is 93 AKI

also, I have an M42 if it matters to anyone

Octane number is a RON number (Research Octane Number). AKI (anti knock index) is indeed what they use in america.

93 Octane = 93 RON = 89 AKI

Sorry about the confusion there. In australia we use RON too, it's just I figured since it is different in america I better put those values up too.
