Difference between 97 and 98

I am looking to get a Haynes Guide for the 318Ti, but it only covers up to 97 with the 1.9L. Is the 97 basically the same as the 98 mechanically?

Yes, there really is no difference between the 97 and 98.

Cosmetically rear headrests where added in 98.
Vented front rotors where added mid 98.
