Lookin for a ti to replace my crx....

well, im looking to get out of the asian import scene... and into the german one :] my friend has a green ti on h&r springs w/ clear corners and tails, and i LOVE it! its like the crx of bmw's. Im looking to get a loan to buy one sometime soon, so i wanted to know what type of stuff i should look for. there are quite a few for sale in my area on autotrader.com that have mods, but i dont really know if it is good to buy one with mods, because i dont know much about bimmers in general! thanks for helpin a newbie!

Personally I would stay away from modded cars unless I knew who did the mods.

I would only consider a Sport model.
Better suspension, seats and has the M-technic trim.

A factory CD will be a problem in a 95-96.
They are no longer available or very hard to find.

I like the side markers better starting in 97.
But that's a minor consideration.

What's wrong with clear lenses?
It's a BMW part. It looks good against certain colors. I would use an amber bulb though.

yea... i dont really like the all clear taillights n stuff cos its not legal since theres no red reflector or somethin like that.... i do like clear front corners and half/half tails and clear sidemarkers tho.
