Has anyone changed/replaced the dash lights? I have a 97 Active, and a regular illumination light is out, as well as the light on the odometer/trip meter (which thankfully still work - just in the dark).

Also, in replacing the front brakes, I hear there is a wire to replace for your *brake wear sensor light*. Does the ti really have such a thing?

To remove the instrument cluster you need to remove the two torx screws above the speedo. There is another torx screw behind the headlight and foglight emblems. The cluster slides out. There are connectors that pop out as well. It is possible to get the entire cluster out without removing the steering wheel. You just need to be patient. Be sure to have the proper bulbs before starting the job.

I think it's the front left and rear right wheels that have the brake wear sensors.

You'll need a new brake wear sensor only if it's worn through (only if it's activated the dashboard light). If not use the original sensor. It just clips on to the brake pad.

Any idea on how to replace the bulbs for the HVAC lighting?

I believe the radio needs to come out to replace the HVAC lights.
