HELP.. Tranny problems

I was driving my car today in the rain and when I made a quick shift into second it made a bad grinding noise. Kinda sounded like I miss shifted but a little different. Now when I shift into second it makes that noise for a second then slides right into gear. To me it sounds like possibly the synchros but I'm not sure. Anyone ever have this happen to them?

sounds like you grinded your gear if you hear that sound all the time now after shifting you have done some damage probably broke some teeth off of the cog.
