I just purchase a 1996 318ti. It looks and runs great for $6900! I bought it with Salvaged title.

My dilema is that BMW will not duplicate the key for a salvaged title vehicle. They would like for me to rekey the entire car to the tune of $450.00.

Does anyone know how I can have my key duplicated with the rolling code and not have to rekey the entire vehicle?

Wow, what a deal you got!! I don't know of any option besides paying the dealer to re-key the car.

But for the deal you got, another $450 stills keeps you well below what you'd pay for a used ti!
