Alex:
Welcome to the list. I am in the same dilemna as you coming across ti's but not really knowing if they are good prices or not. Are you buying from a dealer or private? I have been using kelley blue book. com as a reference tool. But there may be many other variables to consider when buying. I came across a 97 ti "M" sports package yesterday, unfortunately with about 80k on it, but at just under 10k I have my mechanic going over it with a fine tooth comb. So if you are buying from a dealer at just under 12k, you might be getting a good deal. Just make sure you have a mechanic give it a good once over. These cars are expensive to keep running correctly, you don't need a lemon right out of the box. Good luck.

I bought a '96 318ti with auto tranny from private party for $6900. Looks and runs excellent so far. The reason it was so cheap? It was salvaged title. Wish me luck!

CHEAP318TI, would this car happen to be from California ? Black 95ti, around 86,000 miles ?
