Im sure we all want our cars faster but money is always the problem but, if you want to find products to upgrade your 318ti go to www.bavarianautosport.com (http://www.bavarianautosport.com) they have everything you could think of.

You might want to buy a Honda then.

A 318ti is not particularly fast off the line or from a stop light. A ti is most fun in the twisties.

Forget about the Civics.
Go out and do an autocross or driving school.
Have fun in a safe environment.

so there isn't much i can do to make my car faster? i saw stuff for it on bavarian... but i was wondering about dinan? i was just reading some other threads and heard that mentioned somewhere. Where do i find info about SuperCHarging the little beast?

Well you can get a chip which adds a little horsepower I think about 14hp and an exhaust which will add at the most 4 horse power and a ram air intake then Im sure you will notice a bit of a difference but nothing major.

You could supercharge it or you can convert it to a 325 engine or an m3 engine, but that is gonna put a dent in you pocket.

A DA/SC should run around $3500 not including installation. Seems a little much just to beat out a Civic. You have yet to find the joy of driving a BMW. It's not how fast you can launch from a stop light.

A stock ti is a great car to learn how to drive. Get involved with autocrossing.

yeah I love driving it... took the car to the coast awhile back on some nice twisties and it handled great. Im just really into the street racing/drag racing scene. I will prolly also do autocross this year too. I just sold my 1997 dodge Neon for this bmw... and i miss the power i got out of my pimped out neon. Extimated 160 ponies! now im down to 138. http://www.happytogether.com/318ti/forum/frown.gif I think that it is just a respect issue... you only hear about Honda's dominating the scene well when im done upgrading my car I will dominate the scene.

Anyone know of some nice body kits? Wheels? Anything? i have only had the car 2 weeks but i wanna upgrade it SOOOOO BAD!

Anything cheap i can do to get a few little ponies out of her?

Cheap?
As already stated, you can get a Dinan chip, exhausts and intakes are debatable whether they will add hp. K&N filter may actually rob hp.

If an engine transplant or DA/SC is out of the question, consider a new cam. No idea how much that will cost though. That will bump you up in HP.

Sorry, I just don't understand Bimmers being part of the import scene. Different beasts.
