With all the horror stories of the "Stealers" I thought I would let you all know of a decent dealer tale.
I had changed my spark plugs out and when I restarted the TI it ran like a hopped up German Chainsaw. After a few hours of head scratching I spoke to Holtz House of Vehicles here in Rochester NY. One of the BMW techs walked me through a couple of things to test or try. Unfortunately he was stumped as well.
Next day I figured out that I had developed a short in a couple of the plug wires. After a little searching Holtz gave me the best price for new wires as well. Bavauto.com had them for 159.00 Holtz price was 81.00.
I was pretty impressed, he even offered to look at it for no charge if I could get it out to him as well. A good dealer story.
