New to the forum, currently dont have a ti but am in the market for one.
My owned a 98 325i and i absolutely loved it. I currently own a toyota tercel. I hope to purchase a 318ti some time early 09. It seems like an awesome rwd car. So far i have seen a couple which i like but all seem to be over priced. The one which really cought my eye so far would have to be this one LINK (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=p&car_id=253935983&dealer_id=63494517&car_year=1998&rdm=1226973118026&model=318TI&num_records=100&systime=&make2=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&start_year=1981&keywordsfyc=&keywordsfyc=&keywordsrep=&keywordsrep=&engine=&certified=&body_code=0&fuel=&awsp=false&search_type=used&distance=0&marketZipError=false&search_lang=en&showZipError=n&make=BMW&keywords_display=&color=&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&min_price=&drive=&default_sort=&seller_type=b&max_mileage=&style_flag=1&sort_type=priceDESC&address=85705&advanced=&end_year=2009&doors=&transmission=&max_price=&cardist=1760)
It just seemed a little over priced. What do you guys think. I dont currently have the money.(transitioning though jobs) i am just looking but i really like this one. The only thing i dont like is that the side moldings are not black. I really like the contrast

that's not a bad looking ti, I agree with you about the painted moldings, looks like they also painted the door handles and black parts of the mirrors, plus the ///M badge on the back doesn't look good without the engine to back it up, if you want that one, you may be able to talk him down to $5-6k, welcome :)

yeah. I would probably only offer 6, I'm with you on the badge...it seems a little out of place
