Guys,
I have a question about some wires and plug that I have under my hood. It is wires that runs up along the passenger side of the engine compartment, and goe down to where the fog lights would be if I had them. The two wires are a green with a yellow stripe, and a green with a black stripe. They go to a plug that has a metal cap over it. I have looked through my Bentley manual, but can not find what it is??? Any ideas?
Thanks...Doug Z

It's not for the foglights.

Nothing is prewired in the ti except the CD changer and maybe the alarm.

DougZ,

Did you ever figure out what those wires are for? I found the same wires in my car, only that they have been cut. Are they for anything important?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think those are for a temperature sensor. I have a pair of wires in that location which go to a small silver disc in the side of the right brake cooling duct. The only use for it I can surmise is that it's an ambient air temperature sensor.

It's a good bet that is what they are for.
