I enjoy the music of the engine. I typically don't drive with my stereo on if I am just out driving. Windows are always down and the sunroof open, too. I don't care if it is 30 deg F, just means I turn up the heater a little. I need to get myself a Z3, then I can have the whole top down.
Fluke - Zion
Eleanor - Gone in 60 Seconds Soundtrack
Eve 6 - Anytime
Hot Action Cop - Feva for the Flava
Custom - Hey Mister <--------funny song
Reel Big Fish - Beer
SR 71 - Let it Whip
Bond - Explosive
Third Eye Bling - Semi-Charmed
Blake Shelton - Ployboys of the Southwestern World

Judging from the songs on your list, I thought you would be older. Then I saw the more recent songs listed.
My GF(age 27) is a big fan of Cake, I can do without them.
I have a mixed disk of songs I play, and the song "Lit Up" is on it. That song rocks! Need to mute the volume when the big "F" word is used, can't let my son hear that.

I go with some excting songs for spirited driving like:
Nine Inch Nails - Closer
The Van Halen version of You really got me now
or Styx - Renegade
or some Tupac or something...all depends on the mood.
Then when it's just a nice day out I'll throw on some Buffett or Tom Petty or John Mellancamp or the ultimate song...Boston's more than a feeling
