will 17 or 18in brabu monoblock v style 18x8.5 or 17x8.5 112m 5lug offset 35 255/40zr18 or 255/40zr17 fit on a normal 95 bmw 318ti?

Yo i think the biggest wheel you can go with is a 17 by 8.5. I'm pretty sure but not completly possitive

No it will NOT fit. BMW's are 5 X 120 optimal offset for larger wheels is 35-40 anywhere in between. depending on tire width you may have to roll the fenders a bit but typically 235/40 17,18,19 (35) will fit fine.

yeah, offset is completely different....

...why would you want mercedes wheels on a ti anyway though?
