I'm still searching for a good set of tires to put on my 16" Z-Star rims. No snow here in Florida so I'm interested in finding a 225/50/16 tire that has decent dry handling, a smooth/quiet ride, very good wet traction and tread that will give me more than 20k miles. The OEM Michelens are okay for my fairly conservative driving style but are crap in the rain.
I tried a set of Bridgestone RE 950s under the 30 day test drive program, but could not find a set that was perfectly round. With the ti's suspension, that means a vibration that will drive you nuts.
Has anyone had any experience with the BF Goodrich KDWS or KDW? Reviews of these tires on tirerack.com have been positive and a co-worker has the KDWS on her '99 Z3 and says they're great.
