The Yokes I love (AVS S4) that have lasted over 50k finally needed to be replaced. To my dismay, they are a discontinued line. I switched over to Sumitomo HTR+. Anyone looking for less expensive Z-rated all seasons should look into these. At less than $100/per, you can't go wrong. Here in MD with our totally weird variety of weather (rain, snow, ice, blistering heat)these tires should work out great.

Cheers,
Dan

I swithced from Yokohamas over to Sumitomos aswell and I love em' They where cheaper and the tread life is lasting me longer. I really haven't noticed a drop in performance, but when I switched I widened from 205 to 215 and from 55 to 50. So that may have helped. I didn't bother with the v or z rated tire because I never go more than 110 or 115 mph. My last two sets of tires where V rated and I can't tell the difference. I fI get new rims I will go back to a V or Z rated but for now these work fine. Oh yeah your right I live in Ohio and we some weird weather here and these tires have never let me down.
