Lsd ??

So I visited my nearby junk yard and i noticed there were a lot of E30's. I reaaaalllyyyy want a lsd in my car...Its been on my mind for a long time.
What i wanna know is how do i know what the diff ratio is? is it on the differential? Also How Hard would it be to install? Ive seen the sticky and read the things i need and it seems a bit difficult. well thank you.

Yeah, there is a tag on the differential with the ratio on it.

ok thanx now would a 325 differential fir on my car?
do the 325 even come with an lsd?

If the tag says 345S, most likely it is a 3.45 Limited Slip.

Look at the cars transmission... if you have a Manual then look for an E30 Manual... The Ti has a 3.45 final drive for the manual and a 4.44 for the Auto... I would suggest to go for a lower gear than the one you have simply for the advantage of MPG's with lower RPM's... I went from the 4.44 to 3.73 and my RPM's went down about 700+/- RPM's @85 MPH (from 3500 to 2700)...
Same for a manual go for a 3.23 if you can find it or a 2.93. You will need the Halfshaft's as well and remember to look for the S on the Tag or on the Housing of the Diff...or the simple test of spinning it to see if both go at the same time!...
