Broken shock mount?
Loose e-brake cable?

This may be stupid, but its happened to me. Check the tools ontop of the spare, if theyve come loose from their plastic holders, they tend to make some noise as they clang together over bumps.

My vote is loose e-brake cable. Mine was out of adjustment at one point, and kind of sounded like a loose exhaust, but could only be heard from outside the car.

The lever should lift three clicks if properly adjusted.

ok i'll have my dads car shop thingie check it out..loose ebrake cable could be a problem and same with the broken shock mount...it sounds like a rattling noise on the outside and inside im gonna check the tools too. but my e-brake...is bad..sometimes i'lll pull it all the way up when i park on my drive way and it just starts slowly rolling down, so i have to brake then re set the ebrakes.

Oh, yeah. That E-brake is not doing too good, and from the sounds of the condition, the culprit. The good news is you may be able to adjust it back in. Worst case you will need new shoes.

There are adjusters at each wheel to set the shoes, and there's the adjuster under the lever boot for the cable slack.

Get the shoes adjusted right first (get a manual if you don't have one- you go through the lug bolt hole to get the adjuster), then the slack from the cables. Three clicks should hold the car firmly on a decent hill.
