"B Pillars"..need help

The "B Pillars" by the windows are looking nasty..they look discolored and sun bleached. Any1 have any suggestions

Are your pillars covered with black tape?
If so, the tape can be removed.
There was a bulletin that the tape was to be removed and the pillar painted black. Or just leave it the body color.

Anyone have a pic of one that is red with the pillars changed to red? Ill need to have mine repainted soon. They didn't do that good of a job when they changed it from the nasty tape. They replaced the tape 3 times before the TSB to change to paint came through. Got mine in 95. :)

A guy named Compact6 on bimmerforums.com has made lots of carbon fiber bits for his ti including the b pillar covers. From everything I hear he is very quality. Check him out- he sells the cf stuff too.
