I saw a red, possibly CS ti with DS2's and rear deck spoiler yesterday going down Big Ranch Road in Napa. I had driven my ti that day but was in my work truck at the time. I thought it was an M3 because of the mirrors, when I turned I saw it was a ti though.

Also, there is another red active, probably a '95 I see at around 8am going up the Trail. And a black ti that I've seen parked at a store off the Trail a few times.

Anybody here? Or do I need to try and chase them down and tell them to join if I see them again?

There are very few active members here in the north bay area currently... I actually haven't met any other members besides Yoda, who doesn't live in this region, but is in the central valley...

I do over night deliveries from Fremont to Salinas...every once in a while south bound on high way 17 through Scotts Valley I see a black 318ti with an m3 badge on it around 11pm-2am...each time I try to keep up in my 93 toyota paseo...ONCE i got next to him turned my lights on and waved but he gave me a suuper weird look and left me in the dust...

a few months later on my way home one night I ran out of gas on highway 1 between state park and park ave...

I go for a quick jog to a gas station with an empty sea foam bottle and see the car!!

I used to have a Mini Cooper and would wave at other Mini drivers. They usually waved back.

White 318ti Active heading south on Union City Boulevard just past 92 on 3/28/12 at about 5:40pm (not too sure about the time). I think I've seen the same car at the DMV in Foster City and the Barnes and Noble in San Jose. Anyone know who it is?

I saw a blue 318ti earlier today in Fremont. I had just exited off 880 and was heading east on Mission Blvd, approaching the Warm Springs intersection. The blue 318ti was heading south through the Warm Springs/Mission intersection. The time was around 1800 hours. Anyone know who it was?

Green 318ti near Graton around 5:30pm today. Pretty sure it was a sport, I saw the M front bumper but didn't get a good look at the rest of the car. It was beautiful though, very clean looking ti! I wasn't in mine unfortunately.

Around 4:45 today, the same (I think?) silver Active and green Sport ti's were parked next to each other in Graton. The green one had LTW wheels. What a stunningly beautiful example of a ti that one was! I ran home to drop off my groceries and came back within 5 minutes but the green one was gone. I was hoping to grab a photo of the three of us together. Completely random impromptu 318ti meet haha!

Hellrot ti on Guerneville Rd west of Santa Rosa at 4:30 this afternoon. Possibly a sport model, but did have a regular rear bumper. Looked nice, first hellrot I've seen in the area other than mine.

Hello to the silver ti I pulled up next to on southbound 101 in Santa Rosa around 5pm! Base or active with an M-tech spoiler on the back. Gave a thumbs up.

I may have seen you once before (or was it that other Hellrot? around, anyway most ppl don't care about their cars, so I find, and I usually don't bother unless they're "unique") I was a part of this site until moving to the middle of nowhere & getting married!

Who's your mech btw? I haven't found one who "knows" my car yet. Hopefully since you are a part of this community you may just have a trusted guy around the area?

I was just there for a quick trip to grab dog food, so your car was still there when I left. As far as my mechanic, I have a local friend from Sonoma who is experienced with working on E36s. He helps me out with the small-medium stuff. For larger things or if my friend is busy, I go to North Bay Bavarian off of Piner Rd in Santa Rosa. They're quite good, but not the cheapest.

I've only seen another Hellrot once, but you can tell mine by the Contours, black fog light deletes, and rear mud flaps. I usually wave or give a thumbs up if I see another ti (or a note if one is parked) :tongue:

And yeah, we'll definitely have a meet planned for Spring at the very least. We did one last year in Vallejo that was way fun!

Thanks! I quite like your wheels though, the bronze looks fantastic with Avus. Although if you were to paint some Contours bronze, that would look pretty good I think. Glad I spotted your car though, it really does look nice :cool:

Well, what I'm looking for is someone that knows about modified e36's in the area more specifically. Those bronze rims were hard to come by and thought they'd go well. I'm a stickler for a stock look when I have to wave OEM. Plus, they have a KenBlock appeal to my eyes! I have a staggered set myself, I've seen painted contours..and I'm not a fan, but then again it's a shot job on their part. Kinda like my hood! Haha. Which I'm hoping to remedy this summer when the time's right. Expecting another little one in May ..much of what I have in mind will be on hold.

Which brings me to a good paint shop, Anyone know of one where corners aren't cut?

I bet North Bay Bavarian would still be the place to go, give 'em a call and ask. I saw an E36 M3 getting worked on there last time that appeared to be a dedicated race car, it almost shook the whole building when they fired it up haha. They usually have a couple race E30's hanging around too that they've built themselves.

Not sure on paint shops, I've been needing to look into that myself.
