Email that guy, he quoted me $135 and will take it to Dinan specs or beyond. Dinan is pretty conservative, also talk to Johnboy, he had his TB bored out.

See, I wasn't aware that Dinan made throttle bodies for our cars. Ironically, yesterday I pulled my intake boot to repair it until my BavAuto one comes in, and I looked in my TB and saw "DINAN" and the Dinan logo CNC'd into to the butterfly valve. They're not on their site or anything.

So they actually do make them?

not anymore, most of the stuff for the 318ti has been discontinued :frown: you're actually pretty lucky to have had one without even knowing it

How long ago did they discontinue them? I'm planning on doing a I6 swap (haven't decided on 2.5L or 3.0L yet), but I'm thinking about keeping the TB and cleaning it up real nice. Might be worth something some day, LOL

Hi all,

I didnt know about the Dinan overbored TB but last year, i found this by CA Automotive in UK.
they told me it has (+3mm) 58mm size, but it costs over US$300 + core.
kind of expensive....
