I'm posting this thread because I told Dave I'd bother him and try to remind him to go to the Columbia Social.

Pub Dog, Thursday July 9th, let's bring out the TI's!!!

Sorry for calling you out Dave.

At least one other ti will be there.

Come on out! For CCA members, $5 buys you all the mediocre beer and pizza you can stand.

Eating starts at 7, but everyone shows up outside in the parking lot at 6 to hang out and talk cars. Go to the BMW CCA NCC website for details.

 And then there were two...with all the people on this site, you'd think we could get more than 2 people there...DON'T make me call more people out.

:

...You would think. But I can tell you exactly how many times a ti has actually been present at this event for the last year.

Only one, only once. :frown: It seems strange, as we always get a pile of people and a lot full of bimmers.

But I lost track of how many people then said that evening "Wow, cool! You know, I've been looking for one of these!"

This is gonna change!! It looks like we're going to have 3 this coming month, maybe more, just have to keep promoting it.

From what I understand people loose track of time and then totally miss the events...

I can definitely show up at 6, that won't be a problem. I might only stay an hour or so though, I have a project due Friday that I'll need to work on Thursday night.

No worries, that's the real fun (at least when the weather's good).

I'll be there in spirit.

NCC still speaks well of you. Lost track of how many times I've heard people say "he had the coolest little car!".

It's an 8 hour drive.
Only thing I miss about the area is Guapos and my mechanic, Dan Martin.

We're going to try and get there at 6pm.

I need to rescan my TI ECU for codes---that might be lingering although the light went off.

Wow you really are like 5 minutes away!

Sorry I didn't see you Spider---you all hid in the super secret Bimmer parking lot. :( LOL

07-10-2009, 03:04 AM
Wait, you were there?

We were in the correct lot, lol, that was the lot that Paul told everyone to go to. Crap, I was wondering why there didn't seem to be as many cars there as I thought there would be.

Yeah, it was nice meeting everyone though.

MPWR
07-10-2009, 03:12 AM
Yeah, I've certainly walked to Pubdog before.

There were a number of other confused bimmers spread out in other parking areas. It was a decent turnout, we just didn't have all the cars in one place.

Yep yep...was there---and the codes are now cleared...so I wait and see if anything else happens...it looks like we're coming out on Sunday, if plans don't change.

Everyone said the 12th was terrible and that the 19th would be better, I think? I'm pretty sure we decided to change it to the 19th. Check that thread.

Times
07-10-2009, 01:10 PM
Yeah the 19th won't work for MPWR & ///M44ti, otherwise I think that some of that thread was truncated with the server failure....because it's a lot shorter than it was.

Would it be possible for you to run codes tonight----again...yeah...I know, just trying to make sure.

Also working on recruiting the new guy at work to join. He drives a 'truck'.
