I was wondering if anyone has heard of or seen this...
Putting the hotwire MAF off of an M44 on an M42... Because to be perfectly honest, that flapper thingie doesn't really convince me. Anyone know if this is possible? Or maybe an M44 Intake manifold on an M42... Dual resonance and all that mumbo jumbo :P
Any ideas?

BMPD does have an upgrade to a mass air sensor from our mechanical meter. i dont know the price, but you can get a free catalog from their website. that upgrade caught my eye...looks more free flowing and much more reliable.

Well I saw that on the site... but no picture :\
However, it's an interesting idea.. I'm gonna check with my dealership (the sales dude has like a zillion BMPD catalogs).. On the site it just says "318is" next to an M20.. same piece? will it fit?
and crap, for $900 i'll spend the extra $800 and get the indepedent throttle bodies :P Anyone got one of those? I've still got my reservations... :\

well if you got the seperate throttle bodies you would probably want that mass air sensor as well. both of those would be a good combo :D
