What a waste of time in money, in the end it turned out that the kid did it "for the show". Ha!

I knew the father did it as a hoax.
He's just a publicity seeker.
First Wife Swap, then he is also a storm chaser to get on TV.

I bet Falcon is going to a get beaten for owning is father.

That balloon would have had a problem with even a 10 pound bag of potatoes as a stowaway. I saw the video of lift-off of the "kid and balloon" they took themselves, there is no way the kid was in the balloon.

lol, I watched a little bit of the coverage the other day when the balloon was flying and kept thinking, "man, that balloon must be huge to lift a kid in it". I also couldn't figure out where the kid was in the balloon, in the little bottom part or on top of it? Man, looking back, that story made no sense at all.

RADAR is an acronym. A device created during WW II.

Reality Bites
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Investigators in Colorado are speculating that the runaway balloon at the center of a publicity stunt gone awry may have taken off with Richard Heene's brain. Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden said, "From what we can determine, it appears that Mr. Heene does not have a brain in his head. We cannot at this time verify that he had any brains whatsoever before the balloon incident, but we do know that what is in Richard Heene's head is definitely not brains. It could be pudding, sand, poop, whatever. The fact remains that that man has no brains." Authorities do not plan to mount a search for the missing brain, Sheriff Alderden explained, "It would be like looking for Bigfoot; there just isn't a lot of evidence that the brain exists."

The Heene's stayed out of the media spotlight today, locked inside their house where they are reported working on an entirely new reality show proposal which they've titled: 'I'm In Deep ****'.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fox or some other network is covering his legal fees.
