i have an 325e diff .. and have no idea if its lsd??how can i find out ..also wat gear ratio it could be..

S345 would be a 3.45 LSD. <I think>

I'm pretty sure all of the "e" models were 2.93 ratio, low ratio to help get the best efficiency.

As Steven said, the number on the ratio ID tag should start with an "S" if it's a LSD. The tag is located under one of the cover bolts. It will also have an "S" painted on top of the unit, but you may not be able to see it if it's dirty. You can also turn one of the output flanges by hand, if the other side turns in the same direction, it's a limited slip. If it spins in the opposite direction, it's an open diff. Being off of an e model, I'm guessing it's not.
