cruise control and tail lights...

got a strange one...

I recently replaced by brake light and back up light bulbs...

Now my cruise control will not work when the lights are on...hmmm...

thoughts?

My 2 cents is this... when I unknowingly had a rear bulb go out 2 years ago... whenever I pressed my brakes my left blinkers came on... go figure. I brought it to BMW cause I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. A guy there knew exactly what it was, and he went inside and got a replacement bulb for me (free). Anyways... he knew. So, my suggestion is to call your local BMW dealer to find out if they know anything... second... check the fuse for cruise control...

Oh my gosh...I had the exact same problem it turned out to be the circuit board for the taillight I replaced it and never had the problem again! although the same symptom could have been caused by a faulty bulb grounding out the entire cluster....I took out one bulb at a time until I found it. the cluster circuit board was the culprit.
