will the aux. fan from the 318ti work with a 325 engine? can I just move it for its current spot(behind the radiator/between the engine) to infront of the radiator(between the grille and radiator), will it just bolt up like a normal 6 cylinder or will I have to get one off a 325?

ti fan is a 'puller' not a 'pusher', so it won't work if you put it in front of the radiator. And in case you are wondering, just reversing polarity WILL make it spin backwards, but the fins are designed to spin a certain way.

You could mod a M3 external fan to run off the ti's fan connector. It uses the same connector, but wires a bit differently (I had the dealer do mine- actually, he offered) it runs with the A/C and/or if the motor gets a bit warm, and it has never been better.
