sometimes when i go to start my car absolutely nothing happens, the engine doesnt turn and the car act like nothings going on. On the second or third try however it starts up like normal... is this something i can overlook or a prelude to a month of hell?

When you say it doesn't start.... do you hear any noises or is it dead silent? Is the battery good? Are the ground wires good? Terminals clean?

Check the main engine ground. It's a thick cable attached to the passenger side motor mount and connects to the chassis. Check both ends for loose connections/corrosion.

Need feedback on whether the ground wire solve his problem.

Sounds like your starter is going bad. You can check to see if the ground and terminals on the starter are good. Also you can check voltage to the same terminals. But I would bet a beer that it's the starter itself.
Have you ever heard a strange grinding noise after a successful start?
