I was wondering how I could go about getting some track time around SE PA? Where should I start?

Not far at all. Been there once for the karting, but not sure how to get on the track with my ti! Do I have to join a club that will rent the track for a day? SCCA? This is off topic. Should I start a new thread in this forum?

You should join the BMW CCA and ask to be assigned to NJ or Delaware Valley Chapters. They hold schools there.

I have heard good things about New Jersey Motorsports Park. You can also go to Summit Point Motorsports Park, West Virginia, and I believe some clubs offer driving schools at BeaveRun MotorSports Complex, Wampum, PA. I would also check out MotorsportReg.com. It will help you find DE in your area.

Yeah, I'm just outside of Philadelphia.
I've been to maple grove for the 1/4 mile. I know how to get on that track.
I'll have to figure out how to get on their turning track!

There are a ton of BMWCCA clubs ( and others ) running in the Northeast.
motorsportreg.com has most of the events ( although a little early for events to be live)
Here is a link on a local SCCA forum where we keep track of some of the events. ( I am the former DEC of Patroon --and you are welcome to play with us)

you should also try to go to an event at a new track in the northeast, monticello motor club (MMC) in NY state. A few BMW clubs are coming up so just register with their club:
BMW CCA Boston on 6/7 & 6/8
BMW CCA Patroon on 8/30
You missed BMW CCA NJ's event on 4/12.
MMC has a 4 mile road course!:eek: Thats about twice as long as NJMP and lime rock.
