B-Pillars..(Suggestions)

So I read the bulletin about the B-Pillars and the black tape.
My b-Pillars are pealing around the ends the whole length
the the pillar.

I pulled up one Little end of the tape on one side, and it looks as
if I had a Razor, some Goo-Gone, and some time I could probally
eliminate the tape.

My car.. Cosmo Black 318ti, with DARK tinted windows, Its like
Jet black and the B-pliiars are the only thing that look Grey'ish,
SO.. I am thinking of removing the tape.. Because it looks like s*it.
With my black car, If I remove the tape, the under part looks Black
Is it Painted under there ?!?

If I remove the Tape, Id the underpart Dull, or wil there be a gloss ?!
Does it HAVE to be painted, will it look goofy if not painted ?!?

Will it look just like the regular paint, because my car is nice and shiny.

It's been a long time since someone has brought up this subject but my guess it is the body color. Someone once sold carbon fiber pieces hat fit the B pillars.
