How hard is this? Anyone have experience to share as I want to do this one myself if possible.

Thanks

SHOULD be relatively easy. i havent done it on my ti yet, but have on numerous other vehicles and it doesnt seem much different. the one suggestion i have is to replace them one at a time so you dont get them mixed up. other than that...go for it. looks like a relatively simple job.

Get Magnecor wires. These are the best. Forget the hype with all the others...

Replace them one at a time, and you will be fine. They are not in a logical order, and messing the order will be a problem, so one at a time.

Just changed my plugs with no problem, just use a deep 10" socket.

if you are changing your plugs, PLEASE use a spark plug socket (one with a rubber insert). if not, you will break one sooner or later. and they are very easy to break. i went a week at work without a spark plug socket since i lost mine. i probably broke about 4 plugs total that week...luckily i work at a dealer and can get replacements easily. however if you dont have them on hand...you dont want to be stranded at home. but yeah, a nice 10" extension works very well. i did the wires on mine not too long after my previous post. they were fairly simple. not as simple as i had hoped though. i removed the battery and box to gain access to the wire loom. i also removed the loom from the engine. im not sure if i had to or not, but i did. other than that, it's straight forward.

hey bruce,
Just loosen the 2 10mm nuts a little then remove all the wires at once. they are in a loom that holds all the wires. If you get the OEM wires they already come it the loom. just transfer the bolts and heat shield. Make sure and remember #4 wire loops between #2 and #3 then back to #4. Remove the coil pack (2 8mm nuts) with the wires then swap them off the car, it is much easier than on the car. Best place to find OEM parts is AUTOPARTSWORLD.COM they sell the original German made parts. You can call them during the day and talk to someone. Rare these days.
Hope this helps.
