I was thinking of getting a 318Ti to enter into SCCA's Club/Pro rally. It would be the production class so you are only allowed safety and a few suspension mods (springs, shocks, tires, and rims that bolt on to the original mounts). I have no experience with this car and would be my first time running SCCA rally. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Already emailed them before posting here. Anyone have tips on getting a used 1.9L engine ready to race? Since it is production class I am pretty much stuck with that engine.

Not the best car to race with the lack of power. I'd suggest seing a suspension specialist with a proven record and get them to work on your suspension.

Also, what are the rules on weight reduction?
