I am researching different spring/shock options for the ti. I am looking to use lower a car with 18x8.5 wheels in front and back. I have read that Bilstein's PSS-9's are not reccomended for use with front wheels wider than 7.5". Any recommendations on the best setup for handling? Is there are combination of springs and shocks that work particularly well? What brands/models should I look at?

I have Koni Sport adjustable shocks with H&R Race springs. I think they work very well together, but the race springs are very stiff and not that comfortable. With coilovers you get the ability to adjust ride height, but is that worth twice the money? It really depends on your intention. I use my car for track days and autocrosses, and don't mind the stiff car. Any good springs will make the car look nice. If I had the money for the coilovers I would have bought them, but I am very pleased with my setup. If you are just looking for the lowered look, and a nice handling car go for Bilstein or Koni shocks, and H&R, Eibach, BavAuto... springs. They are all pretty good, but I got rid of my old BavAuto springs because they weren't stiff enough for me. Just my thoughts.
