What bits do you have to remove and in what order?

Underneath looks easy but inside looks scary!!

There's carpet speakers etc to contend with and I dont want to damage them.

Thanks in advance 8-)

You can get to the mounts just by prying back the carpet and removing the foam above the strut tower.

How is the carpet attached and where would you start prying from :?:

Fancy popping over to help

The carpet has some holes that connect up to some notches in the rear tire arch. To take them off without ripping them, the rear bottom section of the seat take out. This can be done simply by lifting the front up and pulling it towards the front.

Next, fold down the rear seats and get a 10mm socket screw driver. The remaining side section of the seats need to be taken out. At the bottom where they sit, there is a plastic socket screw. Remove this with the socket screw driver and lift the seat padding upwards to remove it from the bracket.

From now, you can see the carpet where it hooks onto the notches. Unhook the carpet and pull it out. On one side, there may be a plastic cable attached to the carpet. Simply bend the head, to unhook the plastic top from the cable. Now the cable can be removed from the carpet. Behind the carpet, there will be some styrofoam. Simply remove these and now access to the rear mounts are available.

I hope this helps :)

Brilliant. Didn't think it was that hard, never mind and thanks very much.
