Metric conversion. Miles to Km, F to C

Hello everybody. I'm about to buy a US spec 1996 318ti but I live in a metric country, what do I need to do to change the OBC to kms and degrees celsius??. Also I plan to change the cluster to a metric one with km/h and instant fuel consumption gauge, do I need to recode it if it came from a 318is?
