Took my driveshafts to local driveline shop. one Chevy and one BMW shaft.
instead of using the BMW yoke and joint on the rear (which are non-serviceable) they have a local machine shop make an adapter that bolts to the BMW rearend yoke on one side and fits the chevy flat flange that he made on the shortened driveshaft. So now all u-joints are replaceable. Best part is it was less than $200 for everthing. He said they made one the first of the year for somebody who put a LS1 and 6 speed in a 325is. Hope it helps someone in the future.
