fixing headlamp rubber seals

What's a good remedy to repair a side marker's rubber lining? Mine seems to be coming apart from the plastic side marker casing. Would silicone glue do the trick?

be careful with silicon glue...i tried some of that to glue my weather rubber stripping thing down on the back windshield...some got on the car paint and it never comes off no matter how hard you scrub...
