hey guys ,
Is it ok to get an aftermarket alternator from Ebay ?
I have a1996 318ti hatchback.
And my other question is refurbish alternators on e bay ok ?
Or I need to get a new one ?
Am trying to save some $.

I'd get one from a parts store, they might be more expensive but they usually come with a warranty

I got a rebuilt one, with a warranty, off eBay. The place was called California Starter and Alternator or something. $99 about four years ago. No problems at all and still running perfectly.

will anyone please help me find brushes for my VALEO alternator ?
i looked everywhere ! with no result
i have a 1996 , 318 TI with a VALEO 80 amp alternator on it .
all i need is the brushes .
