There is another CDC auto-x at PG Stadium Oct 8th. There are a bunch more in Frederick, at Harry Grove Stadium. Can run, just watch and hang out- even go for a ride along. Pretty sure Spiderti enjoyed the ride alongs in the miata at the last autocross.

PG stadium is much larger and much quicker of a course. Lots of parking too.

I'm planning on being at the Sept 24th autox. Hopefully there will be a bit less rain, just so we can get some dry runs in...

Yeah, 200whp turbo miata with worn down RS3s, that was a blast.

Looks good to me.

Even if you're not interested in autoxing, you can hang out and see a lot of cool cars.

And ride in them!

Or be lame, like my brothers, and not go for rides...

Hey, they worked corners and help clean up... That was not lame.

I agree, not riding along was though.

I'm tempted to haul the wagon and the BMW to the same autocross. Might get the wife to do a few runs too.

Some vids of PG stadium....

Mike, have you been to a test and tune before? Is it worth going to that instead of the event on the 24th, I heard you get more runs at the TNT.

Yeah, a few times. I like the T&T. Few more runs, though it can fill up pretty quickly.

Registered for the 24th, hopefully my guibo doesn't explode.

Why would it explode?

It has started to crack and I won't have a chance to swap it out before the autox.

I might spectate on the 24th, but I doubt it. I've got to get my other cars fixed, and I've been putting off a bunch of other work. I'll be at the one on the 8th though-with one or two of my four cars....

Well, I registered for Saturday....Should be interesting on street tires with the wagon. Last time I tried that it was basically a drift-fest. Couldn't put any power down. Probably a non-issue though, since I lost the good tune I had on it when I upgraded my tuner.

Really thinking about taking the protege5....But with 273,000 miles, I'm worried about hurting it. (I have a complete running spare protege5 though)

I'll try my best to be there. The drive shaft is currently out of my car, I need to get the center bearing off, it's being stubborn. Any tips?

I used a press...Might be able to pull it off using a bearing puller like this....

Oh, damn, 20 buck slide hammer kit....I need to stop by HF....

I'm going to respond to you in this thread Mike.

That mean you'll be out Saturday? You don't NEED to get it corner balanced...

You have CC plates? I've been debating getting M3 strut mounts to help the front out on mine, but I could spend 120 bucks elsewhere, like seat padding-or Protege parts.

Yeah, I'm planning on being there Saturday. I just meant, corner balance is the next step. I don't have camber plates yet, been saving up for the vorshlags.

Just a reminder, if anyone wants to come out an autox it's at Bowie Baysox stadium. You could even come and just watch, there will be some cool cars there.
