View Full Version : Auto trans problem . Sluggish

Every now and then I get in my car and when I put it it drive and proceed to go the car is very slow like the auto is slipping ? And then sometimes it works shift good ? Today I drove it to work like that and the downshift button on the floor didn't work either ?

Why does this do this ?

I been thinking about it a lot lately . Its just trying to get the best deal. You know . Also idk if I'm gonna eventually swap to a s52 if I should search for a zf trans ? And a LSD

You have clutch flywheel and trans ? And what else ? Btw clean ur pm box please ..

Yes, it probably is slipping or your TC is bad. Change the fluid recently?

I just drove it for my lunch break and it drove fine !!!

It tends to happen from shifting from rev to drive or something i think .

Does it buck at all when it goes from normal to sluggish?

Might be a fluid level issue.

Nope just feels like I'm driving a go Cart like it's slipping the whole time . . I'll check the fluid one day and see .

5 speed swap! Even I am considering one now. My trans is having issues on the 1-2 shift now.

larger diff a waste on a NA 4 cylinder.... just added drag. There was a small case LSD fs cheap on the forum.
