I posted this somewhere else but didnt really get an answer. I swapped out my rear pads because the tabs on the pads had broken off and were starting to rattle. Well they are starting to rattle again but I cant find the source of why they would be. The tabs are fine in the piston and the anti-rattle clip is intact. The caliper is slightly loose compared to the other one, I thought it was because of the guide pins being loose, but they're as tight as they can go. So what else would make the pads rattle? Also I'm sure I have left rear wheel bearing going out, but their isn't any play in the wheel, could it still be going out?

I assume the rattle clip did not pop off.
Could it be the splash guard getting loose?

No I wish it was the splash guard. It's clearly from the brakes (it stops when the brakes are even lightly applied) I swapped out rattle clips with the other caliper thinking maybe it was shot.

I also found that the noise stops when you go around right corners

it may be the parking brake hardware has come apart and rattling around

does the rattle go away when you apply the hand brake just one-two clicks?
If Yes then you need to adjust the hand brake.
If NO then look for other loose items in the wheel well.
my .02 cents...
Good luck

no the rattle stops when the foot pedal is depressed, and also I don't if it means anything but there is also a constant grinding noise that accompanys the brake rattle that only stops when I take right corners as well.

it sounds like the squealer, but the pads are low mileage. strange thing.

there is also a constant grinding noise
does anyone else here think that this is not the sort of thing you want to try and "figure out" on a forum?
take a day to get down & dirty and fix it, or take it to somebody qualified who can.

I already have. They said there's nothing wrong, the brakes are fine.
