Ok, the check engine light has been on since I bought the car (beginning of this month, since I wrecked the last 'ti.) Apparently the cam sensor (?) is setting it off...and the airbag light is on, a lot of sensors have set that off. Is it hurting anything to ride around with a bad cam sensor and no (maybe) airbags? The car seems to run fine...and I've been all up and down, all over that rev range, and haven't noticed any problems 'cept for a low idle, but it's steadily low, and doesn't dip or anything. Anyone see a problem in this until I get around to changing it?

I have the same problem on my '97, with 95k Miles on it.
I was planning to get the cam sensor changed but I am waiting to get the promotion at work next month. he he he!!!!
My check light comes and goes on its own though.
The MPG is a bit low as well...

Unless you have some reason to suspect the cam sensor, the owner's manual says the check engine light is tripped for emission faults only. In most cases this is the gas cap or overfilling the tank. At any rate, just disconnect the battery ground cable for a little while and the light usually goes out on the next start cycle. Of course YMMV.
