Bimmerfest East 2012

What is it?: Bimmerfest is the largest BMW car (http://www.bimmerfest.com/bmw-events/Bimmerfest-East-2012/#) show in North America. This will be the 2nd annual show held on the east coast and we are looking to a MUCH bigger year in 2012! Come check out the hottest BMWs and the best BMW tuners at Bimmerfest East 2012!
When: Saturday, August 25th, 2012
Where: Ripken Stadium, 873 Long Drive, Aberdeen, MD 21001
Entry Fee: $20 per BMW to park in the show -- $10 per person to walk in -- kids 12 and under are free

I'm surprised they are allowed to do it again. There were some dbags doing burnouts as they left and I saw at least one pair of cars try to do a drag race in the parking lot. When I left the state police were at the exit to the parking lot and looking for any excuse to pull people over.

yeah I agree, it was pretty lame, food was a fortune and not a lot of activity, just walk around and chat... which I don't mind but for $20 bucks I'd like to do some autocrossing (legally).

A lot of people afterwards ragged on the meet on several forums, and quite a few people left early. I thought it was fun to finally get out to a meet without rain so I'll probably be down for it again this year.

You can also find videos of guys doing donuts at the exit, with the EMTs encouraging the scene with people standing nearby :confused:

as most of you know i had intended to road-trip Zippy to California for BimmerFest West. i also had plans to meet up with my buddy Justin to acquire his black sport seats and door panels around the same time. then i found out that he'll be in Denver the 20th of May...one day after BFW. i have decided to stay in town in order to spend some time with Justin and our local crew.
the good news...there's a back-up plan!
Cindy Lou has suggested that we attend BimmerFest East in August.
so, i'm sorry that i'll be missing the West Coast members...and i'm excited to be planning a whole new trip to visit with the East Coast members.

BimmerFest West 2013 is on the todo list.

i was born in Ft. Lee, VA...so, i look forward to visiting that area as well.

That's awesome. We really need to organize this year so the tis can all park together. There were just tis scattered throughout the show last year, it was like an easter egg hunt, lol.
