Pros

The car is as reliable as it can get. I’ve used it as my daily since the day it was swapped back in 08’. The swap was done at 163k miles.

Mechanically, the only thing that has yet to fail were the vanos unit (rattling) and the starter going out on me at one of the hospitals I had clinicals at. Basic maintenance of course has been done throughout its life. New radiator hoses/fluids/etc.

The car gets approximately 23-24 mpg city & highway. Maybe more if strictly highway.

All electronics work.

Cons

The paint was re-sprayed I believe in 3-4 years prior to purchasing the car (2005i sh) so the paint has trouble spots where the paint is lifting below trimmings/areas they taped off. It’s not totally horrid to the untrained eye but they’re there.

The only things that were left to change out were the sway bars/links and camber plates (still on stock strut mounts in the front). The rear sway bar links are old. The front sway bar links were new.

A while back I had a water seal leak that resulted on the left side of the trunk (where the car jack is located) to pool with a little water during heavy rain. I have yet to fix it as little water gets in and it hardly rains here in California. No rust anywhere and water was drained immediately through drain ports.

The front right passenger fender has dents. Hardly noticeable as well but I will point it out. Overall exterior I would rate a 7-8/10 as I am meticulous. Interior is not perfect but would rate it an 8/10. Has two small cracks on the dash board passenger side.

I'm sure I'm missing some things on the modifications part. As far as price goes, I'm guessing anywhere between 12-14k. Willing to trade cash + stock e30 (late model preferable) or 318ti (stock/clean). As of right now I have no interior pictures. Rocker panels are no longer black but red. Will take photo's this week.
