I have a blown M44 in my garage that has everything on it. The motor has a hole in the block and condition of the head is unknown.

Intake Manifold, wiring harness, coil pack, AC compressor, pwr steering pump, etc is all included. I also have the exhaust header from the donor engine, but it looks like the previous owner took a sawzall to one of the tubes.

$200 or best offer to anyone who wants to come pick it up. I will give you everything.

Just wanted to put it on the forum for anyone who needs inexpensive parts before I take the good stuff and scrap the block.

I am located in Lansing, MI

does the block have a manual flywheel on it?

No flywheel, I had to use that. I do have the old clutch and pressure plate though. It looks like the previous owner had just replaced it not too long ago.

Yeah, sorry about that, I didn't think about that till later. Just trying to be honest so people know that the value is just in the accessories, intake and the harness. The head might be good too, but I don't want to mess with it. Someone that did have the time could probably make some money parting it out.

If someone needs something easy to take off like the coil pack or an alternator I might be convinced to take it off and ship it for the right price. Or the clutch and pressure plate, that's all in a box.

I need an air box but I expect it will be pricey to ship to the UK

I don't have an airbox. Not parting out a whole car just have the complete engine. And yeah I suspect shipping might be prohibitive to the UK.

Well at this point if nobody needs the whole thing I will just start taking parts off and putting them on a shelf in case I need them at some point.

I'm in Wixom, and trying to diagnose a problem with my 96 ti. I think I have a wiring or sensor problem somewhere. Do you have all of the engine sensors as well? (cam pos, crank pos, knock, etc)

Yes, everything is on the engine still. This engine is from a 98 though which is OBDII. I don't know if 96 was the same. You will have to find out from the experts on the site.

96 is obd 2 as well. Everything should be interchangeable.

That's good news. Come and get it then. Everything is wired up still just as it was in the car. Just one or two sensors will pay for the $200 that I want for it.

Do you still have catalytic convertor with two O2 sensors. I am looking for the whole set for my 96ti.

Thanks
Sam

Nope, sorry I just had an engine to get rid off. Looks like the electronics and wiring have been sold at this point.

Any chance at all you could pop the head off and sell it separately. I really need it for my daily driver. My water pump failed and I got the classic crack between exhaust valves.

I have been thinking of that since I just sold the harness and sensors off it. It may take me a week or two to get to it though and there is no guarantee the head is not damaged. I just saw a couple on ebay if you're in a hurry.

Do you still have the cam position sensor or O2 sensors?

Nope engine sensors are gone and never had the O2's. This is just a leftover engine from a swap, not a whole car. sorry

How are the internals of the block? I am looking for a crankshaft and piston rods.

Big Willy,

I really have no idea at this point. There is a hole in the block so I am assuming that one of the rods let go, but I don't know if there is any damage to the crank. At this point if someone wanted to find a shipper that would come to my house and package it up and send it to them I would let it go for $150. If I start taking it apart and selling the usable parts I'm just goint to put them on evilbay and try and get top dollar for them.

If you want to email me at willysf@gmail.com we can talk further, as I do not have enough posts to private message.

I have decided to wait till it gets a little warmer and then part the engine out. At that point I will start a new thread listing what I have that is useable.

Does anyone know how I can close this thread down?
