hey man. i see that you're online right now. so i'll ask you this while you are.
did you try selling this one a little while back? if not, then i must be thinking of one someone was selling with a very similar description. but if it is, then what's been keeping you from selling it?
haha. i'm not trying to harass you with pointless questions. i really am in the market. still looking for that "perfect" ti in a college guy's budget.

I listed it a little while back, the only thing that has been keeping me from selling it is lack of advertising on my part. The last time I posted it forsale, I only listed it on this site not locally or any other forum, and as we know there is not alot of traffic here with about only 1,000 members.
If you are still interested in it maybe we could work something out.

Also If you know anyone interested in getting a TI, let them know, because I will give you $100 for refering them if they purchase the car.

I do not want to say anything bad but you may want to lower the price. Here is what I have found: Edmunds = $9,046, Kelley Blue Book = $8,450, and NADA = about 10000ish. Just a though.

Average Trade-In $10,225
Average Retail $12,350
According to Nada Guides
My car also has driver and passanger side door airbags, ASC + T, and the active package.
Look on www.autotrader.com and look for a 97-99 318ti with under 50,000 miles and you will see my asking price is fair.
I am negotiable on the price as well.

Oh no, I am sure I just think that it is funny because the car market is not doing very well right now and people think that they can get gold for the cars that they own. To clear this up, I am not picking on you by all means, this is just something that I have personally noticed about some people these days. Just my 0.02

KBB has been horrible lately on used car prices. They list a 95 318ti with 100K miles for $4,000. Look around how many 95's do you see going for $4000? 1997 with around 85,000 miles for $6000 1998 with 45,000 miles $8,900. All I am saying is that if you look around that you are going to be surprised when KBB is off big time. That is why I use Nada guides because most insurance companies use the Nada Values.

I thought in 98 they pretty much did away with the active package...If I am not mistaken the only model you could get was the sport, but could be wrong....

Kelly Blue Book Sucks Balls...They under price everything. Look at the car you are driving and then see how many other people are driving them...they are kinda rare, which in my mind increases the value of the car. To most of us our car is like gold so why not treat it that way....

I just bought a 1998 318ti (5spd) with leather interior, no active or sport option. The car was almost mint and had 31.5K miles. I paid $10,500 from a private seller. Since your car has the active package and alloy wheels(mine didn't), it seems like you are in a fair pricing zone.

KBB used to be high, then now they seem to be very low. I guess it is just what the market will take. There is a limited supply of Low milage Ti's out there.
I am also negotiable on my Price, where most dealers aren't.

i think you're thinking about the '99 model...the last year the ti was available here in the states (unfortunately). good ol' e36 in an e46 time period.
yeah. so what if that almost didn't make sense? ha.
