possibly looking for a catalytic for my '99 ti. just failed emissions due to either a bad exhaust, which is being replaced anyways, or it could be the cat, ill probably know for sure tomorrow or friday. either way if you've got one pm me with a price. thanks

You might be better off to buy a Supersprint <I think> cat and be done with it.

I had bad cats on both of mine-the innards loosened up and sounded like hell on my '98. I found a Magnaflow on Amazon.com and had it installed it and its worked just fine, even giving the car a bit of a boost in sound even with the stock exhaust. When the wayward son's project car cat went shortly after, I did it again. Sorry but I can't remember the model number but they've worked pretty well at under $90 each.

I'm just suspicious of installing a +10 year old cat. I mean, in how many years will you have to replace it again?

true, but i mean my '97 ti is running the 15 year old factory cat and she's fine. but hopefully i won't need the cat at all and its just the exhaust which is going to be replaced anyways
