I can't seem to find the mudflaps anywhere. Might not be looking too hard I guess. lol And I've read that thread about the OEM spoiler. My dealer can't/won't help me source one out that's hiding somewhere. I just wanted to see if anyone has one that they'd part with.

They discontinued the mudflaps recently. They were going for super cheap ($5) a pair for the rear. That was the price about a year ago. Might be able to find them somewhere but they are getting rare now.

Will regular e36 rear flaps work on a TI?

Let me know if you do:) I am inquiring on a super cheap set of rears that I found and possibly a set in the UK, but it seems like he wants $50 for shipping a front and rear set...

Shipping across the pond is not cheap and has become considerably more expensive in recent years- I just spent $100 to have a rear spoiler shipped over (that was twice as much as I paid for the part itself).

I had a duckbill spoiler for a mk1 VW Caddy shipped over last year for $15. Why are the shipping chargeable becoming so much?

Have you seen the price of gas lately? lol. Seriously, though- the price of gas is driving a lot of it. International shipping companies like UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc. buy their fuel several months out and when gas prices are high, they have to try and hedge their expenditures. This is the reason why Delta Air Lines recently bought a refinery (http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/delta-air-lines-buys-a-refinery-estimates-it-can-cut-fuel-bill-by-300-million-a-year/2012/04/30/gIQAmPBksT_story.html) to try and cut their fuel costs. The problem with that is when fuel prices go back down, shipping prices generally do not.

That $15 shipping cost for the spoiler was almost certainly subsidized by the seller- I can't even ship a spoiler across town for that price, much less across the globe.

^ECS Tuning does aswell for about $160-170. Just looking to see if anyone on here has them for cheaper. Know where I can get a lux grille? I can't find any new and on real OEM i can't find the part number.

the bumper insert. or "cover" that you want is part number:

51 11 2 233 870

about $54 from Tischer ( getBMWparts.com )

it has the bars and openings for air flow.

the 51 11 2 233 869 version has the bars but no ventilation holes.

I knew there were two lux grills. I couldn't find a picture of the #8 grill. Anmd last time I looked at that drawing it didn't have 8 or 9 listed in the key. lol

I usually prefer the http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/ diagrams over realOEM.

Earl, re: your mudflap search.
Do you happen to have a lead on any more sets ?/Front or back.

Thanks,
max

I have another set of the foamy style euro rears (they look different than my plastic ones) but the screws and mounts around the edges are rusty and some are starting to pull out=/ They also seem to be a little off for conforming to the bumper.
